Aw. No ryan in the top ten IGN Characters. Or kelly. Or phyllis. OR KEVIN?
I feel bad for the imaginary characters.
I think that this is one of the few shows that I enjoy each character pretty much equally. There’s never a time when one of them is on the screen and I wince. I think everyone is great and brings something unique to their character and each episode. I guess that’s why I’m on this site so much. :)
That IGN list was totally gay [/Toby, but to be taken in the way Michael took it]. The top four were already the four main characters of the show. And no mention of Pam’s sense of humor????
The Death of Jim Halpert video! HA HA HA
Kelly should have been on that list in the bottom 5. That’s all I’m saying.
I don’t know if there can be a lot of argument over the top 4 in that IGN list. I think Karen’s placed a little high, and there’s no way she should be ahead of Angela.
In regards to the “Death of Jim” I have to say that for such a nice guy, Jim’s sure received a lot of death threats.
Karen is the Sanjaya of The Office.
Not really too irked about Ryan and Kelly being left off.. I do think Karen is a bit high on that list, and I would have liked to see Kevin (easily one of the funnier non-main characters) and Darryl up there.
LMAO! #7-Elizabeth!!!! Sanjaya! *whew* I needed that lol
I do agree with the beautiful and talented actress part, but she stopped being a good character after Benihana Christmas. She’s changed. Remember how Sanjaya was a good singer once?
Every post seems to have a JAM vs. Karim fight. Kind of ashamed I started it.
Let’s steer the subject to how lovely John looks in those Leatherhead pics.
Lovely.
mmm. Lovely. Lovely.
Hey, was just watching some old office eps, and I noticed there is an older woman who is always in the office but is a mystery.
You can see her head in Greif Counseling
You can see her fully in Office Olympics
Etc.
WHO IS SHE?
Here is Steve Carell being slimed by Nickelodeon:

It’s kind of pathetic that the 40-year-old virgin is more buff and better looking than Spiderman.
Hahah wow Steve being slimed…He’s crazy buff! Seriously, though he looked really good in that first photo. Thanks for that Carly.
And yeah I do not turst any list of top 10 characters that does not include Kelly! What is this conspiracy!!?
No offense to the amazing Angela, but that Thank God You’re Here show (based on some of the clips on youtube) looks kind of dumb. I’ll watch the episode she’s on though.
What..no Kevin on IGN’s top ten characters? He’s one of my favorite characters on the show.
That whole IGN list is pretty terrible. Creed should be much higher on it. Like Number Uno.
Ooooh, Rashida Jones will be at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston filming Sunday? I’m taking the train in to North Station (under the Garden) so maybe I’ll see her. That would be cool.
15 | That’s What She Said points out the mystery woman in the annex. You can also see her in Drug Testing when Dwight introduces himself to the testing lady. This must be the elusive Marjorie.
(As for the people who are rallying for their favorite in the IGN list, I think it’s only fair that if you want to add somebody from the list, you also have to say who should be removed from the list to make room.)
Haha. No matter how many times I watch it, the Jim Halpert dying video is always funny. Kill Roy Kill!
To the people defending Karen, I have to say that I was a HUGE fan of her initially — her Call of Duty TH and her imitation of Jim’s looking at the camera are high on my list of best moments from Season 3. I also liked her right off the bat for admitting that she liked Jim instead of sitting on her feelings, as well as for confronting Jim about Pam as soon as she found out about it. To be that assertive is hard, and it didn’t seem out of character. She was really warm and friendly in Stamford but now (someone said it earlier) it seems like the writers change their mind about who they want her to be with every episode.
My dislike of Karen really has nothing to do with Pam. I just wish the writers would give her back her sense of humor.
I think (completely my opinion) that Karen does have a sense of humour, as much as Pam does anyway. I found her prank on Jim in Cocktails funny. Look, viewers have been familiar with Pam for two whole seasons before Karen was introduced. Karen hasn’t been focused on as a central character nor has she got a fair start to begin with. Stop rant.
Well, I am looking forward to how things will end between Karen and Jim.
I’m sorry, but Kevin deserved to be on that list. Karen and Andy are still proving themselves to me, but Kevin is a veteran!
The top ten list is too hard. I didn’t disagree with what they said, but I couldn’t believe who was left off the list. Maybe a list just can’t apply in this case because they are all so good. The writers and actors have done such a great job of developing all the characters. There isn’t one that I am not interested in hearing more from.
I wouldn’t bother with that list. IGN is horrible at top 10. They’ve had Lost and Scrubs top 10, and its always the same. To me, as much as I love Dwight, he shouldn’t be in the top 3, he should be 4, and Pam should be 3. Pam and Jim humanize the show for me. And the fact that Phyliss, and Kevin weren’t on this list. But they are more about hype. I mean Andy? Seriously, I love Andy, but I love him the least out all the characters.
Karen’s not a real person; she doesn’t have feelings and she won’t be hurt by criticism. No offense, but those who can’t handle the opinions of others, good or bad, on fictional characters, might consider taking a step back from their obsession.
And I do think there are people out there who have a problem with Karen because they find her character inconsistent or unfunny or boring and not just because they’re riding the Jammy Jam Jam train to Jamtown for a Jamboree.
That said, putting Karen above Ryan and Kelly is silly. I don’t dislike Karen personally, but she’s expendable. She could leave in the next episode and I’d probably forget two episodes later. Ryan, Kelly, and Phyllis, however, are staples of the show.
I agree that the IGN Top 10 list is questionable, I mean the Flen #10? It makes me wonder that what an “Officetally Top 10 Character List” would look like? Though I would leave the organization of something like that to smarter people than me….whose nom de plume rhymes with ranster maybe?
How can Karen be on any list of best Office characters when we know nothing about her? We know more about *Creed* than we know about Karen.
I liked Ed Helms’ story.
I think Rashida’s new show sounds hilarious and like a “hit in the making.” I may be a “JAMmer” but I still think Rashida’s wonderful and I’ll definitely check our her new show – always have to support my Office-folks! P.S. I’m really glad Rashida came on the show – without Karen, I don’t think we would have had the chance to see the development in Pam’s character and that’s been fantastic. On another note, I loved it when Karen first came to Scranton and she and Pam were friends (i.e. the Christmas party) – if only to see Jim being freaked out by it!
So I totally bought Celtics tickets just so I could catch a glimpse of Rashida. I did see her but she was kind of far away. What I saw them filming was really funny even if I couldn’t hear anything. She’s great on The Office but I’m excited for this new show too.
