Summary (NBC): Michael has staffers team up for sales calls, leading to some interesting moments in the field. Dwight attempts to cover for Angela after she misses an important deadline.
Nominations were announced Tuesday for this year’s NAACP Image Awards, and The Office’s Kenneth Whittingham received a nomination in the category of “Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series.”
Whittingham is nominated for his work directing Season 2’s ‘Michael’s Birthday.’

Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly, is directing an episode of The Office, according to Televisionary:
Rumor has it that Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator and TV ubergod Joss Whedon will return to television to direct an upcoming episode of NBC’s hit sitcom (and Televisionary obsession) The Office … Look for Whedon’s take on Michael Scott and the gang at Dunder-Mifflin to air sometime in the spring.
