Why did Rob Zombie, director/writer/producer of the latest Halloween flick, visit the set of The Office recently?

Friend first, blog second, and probably an entertainer third.

Hey guys, I can’t access myspace stuff from work. Can one of you wonderful Dunderheads help another Dunderhead out by telling me the gist of why Rob Zombie was there. Just to hold me over until I get home and watch the clip. I’ve been wondering why he was on set ever since I read it on Dan’s blog.
lemonade, no explanation at all in the vid of why Rob was at Dunder Mifflin. I’m assuming he directed an epi. Rainn is only in it for like a few seconds at the beginning while Rob introduced a short clip of the Halloween remake.
Thanks, silsont!
Rainn and Rob Zombie go way back. Rainn was in Zombie’s first movie “House of 1000 Corpses”.
Shucks, I was hoping this was going to be something for a Halloween ep for the upcoming season. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for another one along with another dundies!
Oh man… A Rob Zombie directed episode of the office? I don’t know whether to be excited or terrified… or both?
i think it would be odd if he directed one but i am up for anything really. I just hope every one gets out alive
The best part is that the tipster is Vampire-Bat Jim. Conspiracy?? I think so!!
I assure you no. But.. maybe that’s what I what you to think. To find out for sure may I suggest spying on our Stamford branch. Dye your hair blond first.
