The Office’s Andy Buckley (‘David Wallace’) visits Scranton this weekend.
He’ll be attending a “Raising the Roof!” happy hour on Friday, kicking off The Office Fan Tours on Saturday, and maybe even hanging out at the Pocono Raceway with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (he’s apparently quite the Office fan) on Sunday.
Quite the busy itinerary!
The Office Fan Tours are scheduled every Saturday throughout the summer and showcase landmarks made famous by ‘The Office’:
Four-hour tour that begins at the Mall at Steamtown and ends at Poor Richards Pub. Includes full lunch at Cooper’s w/ beet salad, crab bisque and more. Local brews and wine included with 21+ ticket, however keep in mind this is a clean, fun family tour. Tour includes recognizable places and inspirations such as Farley’s, The Bog, Paper Magic, Cooper’s, Penn Paper building, Alfredo’s, and many other Scranton sights.
Cost: $35 adults, $25 children
P.S. Yes, OfficeTally’s Q&A with Andy is coming later this summer. Stay tuned!
Hah! This is great! I live in Scranton and though I can’t make it to the roof top party, I really wish I could. Any one who can should go, it’s should be a great time and it will help keep our (really awesome) library open!
Oh, and the tours shouldn’t disappoint. Alfredo’s pizza really is delicious :)
I wish I lived closer to Scranton. I’d love to meet any of the Office cast!
But to clarify-will they be visiting Alfredo’s Pizza Cafe or Pizza By Alfredo?? HUGE difference in the two…
I only live about 2 hrs away from Scranton…I will definitely be checking out the tour one weekend this summer…no reason not too. I’ve been to Scranton many times and have only been to the Steamtown Mall so it will be cool to see all the other places..haha
I live on the east coast! Must find a way to go on a tour this summer! So excited! Hence the many explanation marks!
This is crazy because I’m leaving for Philadelphia tomorrow just coincidentally …I wonder if I might actually be able to go to this.
My sister is coming home from Pittsburgh for this and I just bought our tickets for June 27th! Can’t wait!!!
Mike Wallace, huh? How the turntables
(Andy’s a very good actor btw)
