‘The Office’ comes to Verizon V CAST

From the NBC press release:

Starting today, V CAST customers with select phones can view short video on demand from NBCU’s entire suite of video channels, including NBC News, entertainment news from “Access Hollywood,” NBC Sports, NBC Comedy with “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” BravoToGo, NBC Entertainment, Telemundo, mun2, and iVillage.

I’m not a Verizion subscriber, so I have no idea how this really works. Are any of you guys using this? What’s it’s like? Are The Office clips like short deleted scenes or whole episodes?

Product placement in The Office

Update: Here’s a slideshow and article of the event — looks like a great turnout!

The Citizen’s Voice reports an upcoming trip by The Office’s propmaster to gather Scranton items for the new season:

Next week, Philip Shea, the prop master for the Emmy-winning sitcom about a fictional paper supply company based in Scranton, will visit The Mall at Steamtown to meet with businesses.

For two days, the executive responsible for making the characters drink at Poor Richard’s Pub, eat Cugino’s pizza and dial Rock 107 will be in town to see what else Scranton has to offer.

More information from the Scranton Chamber of Commerce after the jump.

NBC is hosting its first annual All-Star Live Blog tonight at 6pm PT. Cast members from The Office are expected to stop by.

And I’ve been told: “If we fill it with Office questions, then I expect more of them will want to join in on the fun!”

This is a call to action, Tallyheads — submit those questions!

Update from ‘Watch with Kristin’

E! Online’s ‘Watch with Kristin’ has posted both an article and a video —

The article includes some thoughts from Executive Producer Greg Daniels about The Office fandom:

We asked show runner Greg Daniels if he keeps up with the boards, and he said, “It influences our storylines a little bit, in that I love how passionate they are …”

The video is a collection of Kristin’s best set visits. There are clips of her Office set visit at both the beginning and end of the video.
