Okay, we’re up and running, but I don’t want a big flood of people here … yet.

Remember to always check OT’s MySpace page for updates — that is command center central whenever there are problems with the site.

And don’t panic if you aren’t able to access OT later today; it just means I needed to disable it while I work on the next step.

I’m not sure if it’s a full moon or the fact that people have a lot of pent-up energy because it’s been soooo long since we’ve seen a new episode of The Office.

Whatever the reason, I’ve been seeing many more inappropriate comments being posted here at OfficeTally. For that reason, I’ve decided to moderate all comments before they appear here.

For most of you, you shouldn’t notice any difference except that it will take some time before you see your comments posted. If you don’t see your comment posted, please read the revised comment policy to learn why.

Hey everybody, just wanted to let you know that I’m having some problems with the site today, and want to warn y’all that OfficeTally may be offline on and off the next few days.

Remember that I’ll always post updates over at my MySpace page.

Yes, OfficeTally turns one year old today.

It’s been a wild and wonderful year getting to know the cast, staff, and fans of this awesome show, nay, the best show on TV today.

While the daily management of OT is a one-person operation, I must give thanks to James, GMMR, Wendy, Tori, Sean, and Jim Mosby, for writing reviews, moderating the chat room, and generally providing moral support.

A shout-out also to the Office cast, especially Jenna, Angela, Kate, and Brian, who have always been so supportive of the site. You guys rock.

And last, but not least, thanks to you, the OfficeTally reader, for coming here to visit, sending in tips, and sharing your Office addiction with fellow fans! Thanks for letting me plant my seed in you.

Just wanted to warn y’all that you may experience some problems accessing OfficeTally tomorrow and during the weekend. To make things worse, I’m not going to be around much this weekend to watch over the site.

Ugh. Sorry for this situation and I hope I can make things better when I return from the weekend.

Are we back up?

Looks like my web host’s main hard drive had a complete failure yesterday morning and OfficeTally was down for most of the day. OT is now restored, but only from a backup from Sunday. Which means we lost posts and comments from the past two days (mainly Monday).

If you were tearing your hair out yesterday, imagine how I was feeling. :)

I will attempt to manually restore what we lost, but please be patient. Thanks!

I missed you guys … it’s good to be back.
