‘Office’ Lovebirds Enjoy Their Work

Frazier Moore of the Associated Press talks to Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski about their roles of Pam and Jim on The Office.

An excerpt:

Pam was thrown for a loop by Jim’s boldness [in Casino Night]. So, apparently, was Jenna.

“At the table read,” reports John, “when I first read my line, ‘I’m in love with you,’ Jenna said, ‘What?!’ — right in front of the whole cast. It was hilarious. They put that in the final script.”

Reading Jenna Fischer

In the September issue of Esquire magazine, Jenna Fischer wrote an article called Ten Things You Don’t Know About Women.

Here is a video, created by Preston Conner and shot entirely on a camera phone, of various Office staff members (including Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, B.J. Novak, Kate Flannery, Charles Esten, Ed Helms, John Sparano, and Dan Beals) reciting from the article.

Warning: Definitely NSFW! It’s pretty raunchy stuff …

Office Sweethearts Tease Tonight’s Return

TV Guide talked to Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski after their appearance on The Today Show this morning.

An excerpt:

TVGuide.com: A concern of some critics is that your story line threatens to make The Office, a comedy, too “angsty.” Do you take that personally at all?

Krasinski: People have been saying that for a while, but the writers keep it so realistic that I feel like however it came out, you can talk to a number of people who have had a similar experience. I feel like we sort of answered a lot of questions, and I’m really glad that we ended [Season 2] the way that we did.
