Angela talks to IGN

SPOILER WARNING! The last page of the article and subsequent comments will contain spoilers.

IGN talks to Angela Kinsey about MySpace, the accounting department’s starring turn in last summer’s webisodes, and the birth of Dwangela:

IGN: What was your reaction when you found out Angela and Dwight would be paired as a couple?

I remember that table read so specifically; so vividly. And I remember we read the end where you see the two Birkenstocks are like bumping Birkenstocks, and it’s revealed to be Dwight and Angela, and I remember John [Krasinski] being like, “Oh my god! You’re kidding me!”

Oh yeah, and she also talks so ever briefly about the season finale. :)

PopGurls interviews Angela Kinsey

PopGurls has an excellent interview with Angela Kinsey, filled with lots of behind-The-Office-scenes goodness:

Speaking of friendships behind the scenes, how fun is it to play Pam’s nemesis when you are good friends with Jenna?

Oh — it’s so much fun. It’s ridiculous, it’s crazy. Because right before the director will yell action, we’ll be talking and I’ll be like, (giddy) “You did! You got it! Where did you get it? What size? And it came in green? Did you get the shoes? I’m totally going with you!” And then they’ll yell action, and I’ll be like, (deadpan) “Pam, you are a stupid woman.” (laughs)

And thanks, Angela, for the shout-out to the OTCR! :)

Eatin’ with Ed

The May issue of Every Day with Rachael Ray has a funny story about Ed Helms’ eating habits on The Office set:

Ah, lunch. How I love lunch. It’s a very social time at The Office. The whole cast and crew eat together cafeteria-style. And oh, man, catering pulls out the big guns for lunch. It’s not uncommon to find king crab legs, a pasta station, some barbecue ribs and then some fancy entrĂ©e I’ve never even heard of. The salad bar is like the produce section of a supermarket. I don’t bother choosing. I just eat all of it.

I concur — the food is really good on set! And there’s a lot of it. Like, everywhere.

Jenna in Women’s Health Magazine

Women’s Health Magazine spoke to Jenna Fischer “about her new best friend, her ultimate turn-on, and the epiphany she had in the bathtub.”

An excerpt:

You’re on the set 12 hours a day. Who are you closest to in the cast?

Angela Kinsey, who plays Angela. We’ve become best friends. I would have never thought that at 30 years old I would find this kind of friendship. We’ll work all day together, and I’ll walk in the door talking to her on my cell phone, and my husband is like, “Are you serious? You just saw her!”

This article will appear in the May issue, on newsstands April 24th.

Talking to Oscar Nunez

NorthJersey.com talks to Oscar Nunez about The Office and his Comedy Central show, Halfway Home:

Is it difficult to keep a straight face when you’re working with Steve [Carell]?

No, I’m actually pretty good at keeping a straight face. A lot of the people in “The Office” break up. [John] Krasinski is notorious. He just laughs at anything that Steve does, and then Angela [Kinsey] follows suit. Him and Angela are little giggle partners.

OfficeTally interview

Brian from Lower Hudson Online interviewed me about this little obsession I have called OfficeTally. He asks some interesting questions about how the site was created, what it was like meeting the cast, and what my favorite Office moment is.

Thanks, Brian, that was fun!
