P.S. Who else do you recognize from The Office in this movie?

  1. That’s where Paul Feig has been all this time! I was wondering why he hasn’t directed any episode in a long time. But anyway I saw Hank at 0:57.

  2. Those aren’t the only people the movie has in common with The Office. According to the Internet Movie Database, Nancy Carell (who played Carol & is Steve Carell’s wife) and Andy Buckley (David Wallace) are in this movie also, but it doesn’t look like they made it into the trailer. And, if you want to get extremely specific, both the movie and the show employed casting associate Ben Harris, costumer Kim Shek and lighting technician Michael Piekutowski.

  3. They weren’t in the trailer, but Nancy Carell (Carol Stills) and Andy Buckley (DAVID WALLACE!) are shown to have roles on the IMDB page. And the flight attendant is NOT Kate Flannery.

  4. The guy playing Ellie’s husband. Isn’t that the guy who played Jim’s childhood friend from the last episode that Jim said was too dumb to hang out with?

  5. I saw this movie yesterday and I loved it. I recognized Ellie, of course, and David Wallace, Carol (Steve’s wife in real life), Marie the concierge and Hank (the security guard). And Paul Feig, director/producer of the office directed the movie. It was awesome!

  6. Finally got a chance to see this movie, & I LOVED IT! Super hilarious! So many Office people in this: Ellie Kemper, Andy Buckley, Hugh Dane, Concierge Marie, Nancy Carell, Paul Feig cameo (as well as director), the Asian guy Pam & Andy cold called in Koi Pond.

And now I can’t get Wilson Phillips “Hold On” out of my head.
