Most recognized for her own performance on TV’s “The Office” as the chatty, needy Kelly Kapoor, Kaling says she’s increasingly identifying herself as a writer and a performer. “It comes from this impatience that I just wrote this and now I want to see it on its feet,” she says.

It’s so cool to see Mindy as airhead Kelly on The Office and then read her hilariously wise-ass blog, or hear her witty eloquence on talk shows, or realize that she wrote some of the greatest Office episodes. I am DEFINITELY watching for her.
