Wow, I think that’s one of the worse racial remarks he’s made in awhile. Stanley certainly seemed to take note of that.
Wow! If I cringe any more, my face might stay this way. I can see why they cut it, but that’s pretty harshly classic.

When I heard this clip for the first time, I did not see Michael Scott’s comment as racist. I think the comment was a slant toward Stanly’s character, who is always in conflict with Michael. The joke would have been well served between Michael and Toby. Comedy has a habit of pushing the limits. This episode in its entirety was full of touchy content and bold jokes. I was surprised a show like “The Office” would take the jokes to that level.
