This is wonderful news! Congratulations to the cast and crew of THE OFFICE. Can’t wait for the big 1-0-0!
What was in Goodbye Toby that had to do with “drug, alcohol [or] tobacco use and addiction?”
I’m wondering if Goodbye Toby was included because of Ryan’s storyline (i.e., he was using illegal substances and ended up doing poorly and getting arrested; a serious possibility for drug users)?
Yeah, I can’t figure out Goodbye Toby either. Night Out had drugs/drinking, Weight Loss had unfair methods of losing weight, and Business Ethics had using your body for business (for lack of a better phrase); However, all I can come up with for Business Ethics is hazing.
looking at the fact the office won for multi episode storyline, it looks as though it would have been the Ryan story line through the ramifications of his actions
This reminds me of how I’m writing my final paper for my “Gender, Identity, and Society” class on The Office. Thank you Michael Scott (and writers!) for making finals more interesting!
i think brooke is right, those episodes dealt with the story arc of ryan’s addiction. goodbye toby is when they saw the video of him being arrested and business ethics had a seminar that resulted from his actions.
Surprised Moroccan Christmas didn’t get an award…
