Yesterday was Steve Carell’s last day of filming on ‘The Office,’ and Rainn Wilson tweeted: “NBC bought Steve this AMAZING cake for his going away party. (Many tears were shed.). Oscar’s in the BG – you can see it’s like 3 feet high!”

That is the best cake ever. Wonder if it was mint chocolate chip..
Well, it’s official…my first “Steve is leaving” tears have been shed. This is amazing and sweet.
Perfect cake for the occasion. Looks like it was a nice yet sad party.
I’m going to cry my self to sleep, after the “Goodbye, Michael” episode :-(
Most amazing cake ever!
This is one of the most amazing cakes I’ve ever seen! I hope we get to see more pictures from the party.
reading the “Thank You, Steve” just made me burst out with tears, the only thing that makes me feel a little better is that the cast will miss him a lot more than the fans
Fantastic! I bet it was delicious. Yet it’s almost too good of a cake to ruin. I hope there will be extensive behind the scenes goodies, tributes, photos and video of the filming of Goodbye Michael.
I wonder if they could put it in Jello?
Very cool! I knew he’d go out in style with a great send off. I wonder if Mindy got a chance to corner him and sing :D
Awesome cake!
To be a fly on the wall on Steve’s last week.
A sad day for an amazing run.Would love to have the inside scoop on Steve’s last day. I am sure Tanster will have something shortly.
With Steve gone, the Office 1.0 is offically closed.
Will the Office 2.0 keep viewers interested? Time will tell.
I never knew a picture of a cake would make me cry..I am so sad about all of this, I don’t think I’ve accepted it yet! :(
Perfect cake to say farewell to Steve Carell/Michael Scott.
Strangely enough, I can’t help but think how Pam is going to deal with Michael leaving. That’s going to be so sad. She took such good care of him and his feelings. It’s going to be like her eldest kid is leaving home.
Anyone know who made this cake? If it was Ace of Cakes or Cake Boss or something like that?
